Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in teaching-related field with at least 180 credits
  • Modern German literary studies: 24 LP
  • Mediävistik: 14 LP
  • Language and Media: 22 LP
  • Subject didactics German: 8 credits
  • Proof of participation in the Karlsruhe Individual Aptitude Check for Teachers (KAiAC-T) or equivalent
  • Proficiency in the German language (Level B1 for foreign nationals)
  • First subject: specialist sciences (20 LP)
  • First subject: subject didactics (7 LP)
  • Second subject: specialist sciences (20 LP)
