About this Study Course

Elevate your expertise in Information Technology with the Master of Information Technology program at the University of Waikato. This dynamic program goes beyond the theoretical, offering a unique blend of supervised project-based learning and on-the-job experience with an industry partner.

Overview

A standout feature of this course is the industry internship (CSMAX596) paper, providing you with a full trimester of hands-on industry experience. As an intern, you’ll be mentored and supported by both your employer and a University supervisor while working on real-world problems within an industry team setting.

The MInfoTech, developed as part of the Auckland ICT Graduate School in collaboration with the University of Auckland, aims to produce highly-skilled professionals in network and data management, coding, system architecture, and web development. Given the rapid growth of the technology sector in New Zealand and the projected global growth of the ICT industry, reaching $1.3 trillion by 2020, the MInfoTech positions you to seize significant opportunities in this thriving industry.

Our commitment is to ensure that you not only excel in the classroom but also enter professional work situations equipped with a full complement of employable IT skills.
