- University degree in a relevant discipline
- Proficiency in German (DSH level 3, CEFR level C2)
- Proficiency in a foreign language (modern language on CEFR level A2 or qualification in Latin/Greek)
- Specific modules totaling 95 ECTS credits in the major professional discipline, 39 ECTS credits in the minor professional discipline, and 24 ECTS credits in educational sciences
- Completion of a 9-week internship, including 25 days at a school
