Unlike the bachelor’s degree program, our Master of Education places a strong emphasis on educational sciences and subject didactics. Here, students not only deepen their subject-specific knowledge but also develop expertise in pedagogical methods and strategies tailored to the social sciences. Admission Requirements
- University degree (German or non-German) in a relevant discipline
- German language proficiency (DSH level 3, CEFR level C2)
- Proficiency in two foreign languages (modern languages on CEFR level A2 or qualification in Latin/Greek)
- Specific modules totaling 67 ECTS credits for subject knowledge/subject didactics modules in chosen school subjects
- 24 ECTS credits for educational sciences, including a focus on inclusion
- Bachelor’s thesis worth 7 ECTS credits
- 9-week internship, including 25 days at a school
