As a graduate of the MA in Archaeology (by Research), you will be able to enter a career as an academic researcher, archaeologist, conservator, heritage manager, museum education officer, curator, or exhibitions officer, or as a historic buildings’ manager. The research area that you will have explored in depth in your dissertation will prepare you for further research in your prospective career.
If you would like to enter a career as a researcher and lecturer, and would like to further your studies, then you may enrol in a doctorate programme offered by the University of Malta, or at a foreign institution abroad.
