The Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) is offered as either a single or a double degree. It starts with foundation courses to build your core skills before you choose a major (or two) to explore what inspires you the most. Your degree consists of:

four core courses (orientation, graduate portfolio, level one research skills and level two research experience)
11-14 courses in your chosen major
six free electives from any faculty at UNSW (you can use these to build a recognised minor)
two general education courses (non-science courses)
embedded honours year
