Admission Requirements

  • To enrol in the Professional Master of Computer Science, you will need to have completed a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) with a background in a computer sciences subject (eg, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering), with either a B Grade Point Average in your 300-level courses or experience working in the field.
  • CAE or CPE: Score of 176 with a minimum of 169 in reading, writing, listening and speaking
  • IELTS Academic: An average score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in reading, writing, listening and speaking
  • NZAPA: English New Zealand Accredited Pathway Assessment Level 3
  • NZCEL: Level 5
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic): PTE with an overall score of 58
  • TOEFL iBT: Total minimum score of 90, minimum score of 19 in reading, writing and listening
  • COSC680 Computer Science Professional Project
  • Choose up to 120 points from:
