This flexible program, offered through a blend of online and on-campus block courses, acts as a versatile gateway, potentially leading to the Master of Sport, Exercise and Health.

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor of Sport and Recreation, or equivalent; or
  • Graduate Diploma in Sport and Exercise, or equivalent
  • IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; or equivalent
  • You need to successfully complete 60 points to complete the Postgraduate Certificate in Sport, Exercise and Health. There’s an emphasis on Mātauranga Māori within our courses.
  • All courses are offered via flexible learning, with online teaching and learning, as well as block courses on campus at the AUT North Campus, AUT South Campus or AUT Millennium. This is convenient if you live outside of Auckland or are balancing your study with work or family commitments.
