The Master of Medicine program in Medical Genetics comprises four formal modules, each strategically designed to meet the requirements for the Fellowship in Medical Genetics. Registrars undergo rigorous training in areas such as Medical Genetics, Principles and Practices of Genetic Counseling, and Clinical Genetics, aligning with the Part 1 and Part 2 examinations of the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa.
