The master’s degree in European Languages, Cultures, and Societies in Contact immerses students in the complexities of multilingual and multicultural societies. Admission Requirements

  • you have a nationally recognized first cycle degree – normally a Bachelor’s degree – from an accredited institution of higher education,
  • your degree corresponds to at least 180 ECTS (European credits) or to three years of full-time study,
  • IELTS 6.5 and the writing test score 6.0
  • C2 Proficiency – Cambridge English Qualifications with pass grade A, B or C.
  • C1 Advanced – Cambridge English Qualifications with pass grade A, B or C.
  • PTE – Academic test with a minimum overall score of 62 and the writing test score 54 or more
  • TOEFL iBT  90 and the writing test score 20

The programme is 120 ECTS in total. The number consists of a mandatory module (30 ECTS, in English), an elective module (60 ECTS, in French or German, or another programme language) and a master’s thesis (30 ECTS, in French or German).
