Admission Requirements

A relevant New Zealand level 7 bachelor’s degree or recognised equivalent with a B average or better in the 300 level and final year (full-time equivalent) courses
IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall, with no individual component less than 6.0
TOEFL iBT Overall score of 80 (with at least 21 in Writing and 18 in Speaking)
Cambridge English Overall score of 176, with no individual component less than 169
Pearson Test of English 58 overall score – with no communicative skill less than 50
NZCEL Level 5

You’ll complete two compulsory courses (40 credits), one in Semester 1 and one in Semester 2.

You will also complete four or more courses (80 credits) chosen from a core list, plus up to three elective courses (60 credits) from the Master’s degree courses offered across the university.
