This collaboration offers candidates the unique opportunity to pursue an MSc by coursework and research report, attending classes at Wits and online through Embry-Riddle.

Pending approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, this internationally recognized degree positions graduates to hold a Master’s in Aeronautical Engineering from the largest Aeronautical Engineering University on the African continent and the best Aeronautical University in the World.

Admission Requirements

For the Research Dissertation and 50/50 option:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering 4th year or equivalent cognate qualification (NQF 8) with an average >= 65%.
  • Relevant working experience may be considered for a review of the 65% requirement.
  • Identify and approach a supervisor from the Faculty of Engineering or the Built Environment prior to application.
  • ERAU dual-degree 50/50 option requires maintaining set Grade Point Averages as outlined.
