Over 38 weeks, spanning three terms, this program caters to both adults and eager learners above the age of 16, offering a solid foundation for those embarking on their path to Islamic scholarship.

Madina Institute’s Level-1 in Arabic and Islamic Sciences Ijazah Program is a testament to our commitment to nurturing Islamic knowledge. Tailored for aspiring students of Islamic scholarship, this part-time course features renowned instructors such as Shaykh Muhammad Bin Yahya al-Ninowy, guiding students through a year-long exploration of Islamic wisdom. Serving as the foundational level of Madina’s esteemed 4-year Islamic Studies Ijazah Program, this course can also be pursued independently. Upon successful completion of all modules, including written assignments and examinations, students will be conferred a Level 1 Ijazah (Diploma) in Islamic Studies.
Admission Requirements
This level will not assume very much prior knowledge of the modules covered, so will be suitable for beginners. However, the course builds progressively on Level-1 so a strong aptitude for serious studies is a must.
The recommended age for anyone who wishes to attend this course is 16+.
