Primary school teachers play a pivotal role in inspiring young minds and nurturing a love for learning. Our practical program, led by experts in primary education, equips you to teach a diverse range of subject areas. You’ll also have the opportunity to share your passion for specialized subjects like sports, sciences, arts, and culture.

Through hands-on placements at primary and intermediate schools, you’ll establish connections and develop practical skills. This program qualifies you as a provisionally-certificated teacher in primary and intermediate schools, typically catering to children aged 5–13.

Admission Requirements

  • You must have completed an undergraduate degree at a recognised university (or similar institution) in any discipline with a GPE of 2.4.
  • IELTS 7.0
  • C2 Proficiency – Cambridge English Qualifications with pass grade A, B or C.
  • C1 Advanced – Cambridge English Qualifications with pass grade A, B or C.
  • TOEFL iBT  90 and the writing test score 20
  • Practicum One (School A): 5–23 February (3 weeks)
  • Practicum Two (School A): Two days in schools from 29 April to 17 May (6 days) (Wed & Thurs for face to face students. Two days negotiable for Online students) then 27 May–5 July (6 weeks)
  • Practicum Three (School B): Two days in schools from 2 Sept to 27 Sept (8 days) (Wed & Thurs for face to face students. Two days negotiable for Online students) then 14 October–29 November (7 weeks)
