An NQF 7 Degree qualification obtained with a pass mark of at least 60% in Informatics, the ability to identify a business problem in industry and to develop a computer programme to solve it. A deep insight into the architecture of IT systems, including computers and networks. A deep insight into the representation of data structures in a computer system and the functioning of data models. A deep insight into the use of IT network systems in the execution of electronic commerce transactions. The ability to design web pages for the Internet serving as interfaces for electronic systems. A broad insight into the latest developments in the IT industry. A broad insight into the role and meaning of IT systems in modern society. Please note that applicants may be required to pass a practical programming examination as set annually by the Academy.
