Admission Requirements

Admission to the Honours programme is subject to approval by the Department. A prospective candidate must have a minimum average mark of at least 60% for Pure Mathematics on the third year level and pass an entrance exam as set by the Department. Internal candidates with an average mark of at least 65% for Pure Mathematics on the third year level may be exempted from writing the entrance exam, at the sole discretion of the Department.
