Admission Requirements
Joining the Industrial Engineering ENGAGE program at the University of Pretoria is a seamless process. Prospective students with a National Senior Certificate (NSC) or Independent Examination Board (IEB) qualifications should meet the following minimum requirements:
- English Home Language or English First Additional Language: 65%
- Mathematics: 65%
- Physical Sciences: 65%
- APS (Admission Point Score): 33
Life Orientation is excluded when calculating the APS. Applicants currently in Grade 12 can apply with their final Grade 11 results, while those who have completed Grade 12 should apply with their final NSC or equivalent qualification results. Successful candidates will be notified upon admission, and it’s important to regularly check the application status on the UP Student Portal.
