Admission Requirements

For prospective students seeking admission in 2024, the University of Pretoria has outlined the following minimum requirements:

  • English Home Language or English First Additional Language: 5
  • Mathematics: 5
  • APS (Admission Point Score): 30

Life Orientation is excluded when calculating the APS. Applicants must apply with their final Grade 11 (or equivalent) results if currently in Grade 12, or with their final NSC or equivalent qualification results if they have completed Grade 12. Meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee admission, and successful candidates will be notified accordingly.
