Engage with the community through noho marae, volunteer initiatives like Te Hunga Tūao | Student Volunteer Army, and collaborations with Te Mātāpuna Mātātahi | Children’s University. Customize your degree by adding a minor from a diverse range of subjects across Arts, Commerce, Digital Screen, Health Sciences, Science, and Sport, ensuring a tailored educational experience that aligns with your interests and career aspirations.
Admission Requirements
- Admission to UC with University Entrance (or equivalent) is required to enrol.
- CAE or CPE: Minimum score of 169 with at least 162 in reading, writing, listening and speaking
- IELTS Academic: Academic with an average score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in reading, writing, listeningNZAPA: English New Zealand Accredited Pathway Assessment Level 3
- NZCEL: Level 4 – Academic endorsement.
- Pearson Test of English (Academic): PTE with an overall score of 50
- TOEFL iBT: Total minimum score of 80, with at least 19 in reading, writing and listening

- CHCH101 Strengthening Communities through Social Innovation
- Three 100-level elective courses
- One course chosen from available options
Year 2:
- YACL201 Social Leadership: Leading with Others
- EDUC206 Education and Society: Ideals and Realities
- Two 200-level elective courses
- One course chosen from available options
Year 3:
