Admission Requirements

  • A teaching-related bachelor’s degree in mathematics or an equivalent qualification
  • Completion of required coursework with a minimum of 180 credits, including mathematics didactics and specialist sciences
  • Proof of participation in an aptitude assessment program for future teachers
  • Proficiency in the German language for non-native speakers, demonstrated at least at level B1
  • Specialist Sciences in First and Second Subjects: 20 credits each
  • Subject Didactics in First and Second Subjects: 7 credits each
  • Educational Sciences: 33 credits
  • School Internship Semester: 16 credits
  • Master’s Thesis: 17 credits
  • Additional modules in Algebra, Number Theory, Elective, and Seminar: Totaling 28 credits
