Admission Requirements
- General university entrance qualification (Abitur)
- Subject-linked university entrance qualification
- Delta examination of the University of Mannheim (for holders of a Fachhochschulreife)
- Recognized diploma of advanced vocational training or an aptitude test for vocationally qualified persons
- Proof of completion of the Lehrerorientierungstest („Career Counselling for Teachers“ (CCT))
- Equivalence of foreign school-leaving qualifications certified by the responsible Regierungspraesidium (regional authority)
- Additional requirements may apply for non-EU nationals, including university entrance tests, completed years of education, or the “Feststellungsprüfung” (test of aptitude of foreign applicants for studies at universities in Germany).
- Specialist Sciences in First Subject: 70 credits
- Subject Didactics for First Subject: 8 credits
- Specialist Sciences in Second Subject: 70 credits
