Admission Requirements

You will normally need to have a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours or Bachelor of Science with Honours degree in relevant subjects, or in exceptional cases have qualified for the award of another appropriate qualification.
CAE or CPE: Score of 176 with a minimum of 169 in reading, writing, listening and speaking
IELTS Academic: An average score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in reading, writing, listening and speaking
NZAPA: English New Zealand Accredited Pathway Assessment Level 3
NZCEL: Level 5
Pearson Test of English (Academic): PTE with an overall score of 58
TOEFL iBT: Total minimum score of 90, minimum score of 19 in reading, writing and listening

Unendorsed Option:
- At least 30 points chosen from an approved list of electives
- Maximum of 30 points chosen from a secondary list of electives
Endorsed Options (Fire Engineering or Mechanical Engineering):
- At least 45 points of subject courses
- Maximum of 15 points from an approved list of electives
