Admission Requirements

  • General university entrance qualification (Abitur) or equivalent
  • Participation in a study orientation test or counseling
  • Language proficiency (German B1 level or equivalent)
  • Additional requirements for foreign nationals as per German regulations
  • Phase I: Classical Experimental and Classical Theoretical Physics, Higher Mathematics 1-3, Programming and Computer Algebra, Internship in Classical Physics
  • Phase II: Modern Experimental and Modern Theoretical Physics, non-physics elective subject, Internship in classical and modern physics, Computer use (choice)
  • Phase III: Modern Experimental and Modern Theoretical Physics (two elective areas each), Bachelor’s thesis (processing time: max. 6 months)
