Admission Requirements
- A good honors degree (first or upper second class) in a relevant subject from a recognized university.
- A merit in a relevant Master’s degree, typically requiring an average of 65 in the taught component.
- Adequate knowledge of written and spoken English, demonstrated by IELTS 7.0 with no less than 6.5 in any band, TOEFL 95 with no less than 22 in any band, or equivalent.
Writing Your Research Proposal:
- Title: Title of your proposed research.
- Specialism: Identify the Department you want to join and potential supervisors.
- Research Question: Overview of your research question and its significance.
- Objectives: Main objectives and key aspects of your research.
- Literature Review: Importance of related research and your contribution.
- Research Techniques: Methods and data collection procedures.
- Timeline: Proposed timetable of activities.
- References: Works cited in your proposal.
- Word Limit: Maximum of 5,000 words, excluding references.
International Requirements:
- IELTS: 7.0 with no less than 6.5 in any band
- TOEFL: 95 overall with no less than 22 in any band
- PTE: Academic 76 with no less than 67 in all four skills
- Cambridge English: Advanced or Proficiency – minimum overall score of 185, with no less than 176 in any component
