Admission Requirements

  • A degree from a UK Higher Education Institution (usually a 2:2 or above).
  • Strong mathematics subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject, demonstrated through A-level Mathematics and/or degree content.
  • GCSE Mathematics (Grade 7/A or above) and English and Science (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent qualifications.
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Health and physical capacity to teach.
  • Agreement to abide by the University of Birmingham Code of Professional Conduct and Fitness to Practise.
