Our MRes in Sexuality and Gender Studies at the University of Birmingham introduces you to a wide array of theoretical and methodological frameworks that have shaped the field over the twentieth century and continue to influence it today. Admission Requirements
- A good (normally a 2:1 or above) Honours degree, or an equivalent qualification from outside the UK, usually in a relevant area.
- Consideration of academic and professional qualifications, as well as relevant professional experience.
- Demonstration of the ability to study by distance learning if applying for distance programs.
- Non-standard qualifications are welcomed; applicants are encouraged to contact the admissions tutor.
- International students: Acceptance of a range of qualifications from different countries.
- English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band, or equivalent scores in TOEFL, Pearson Test of English, or Cambridge English exams.
