Our MRes Egyptology program offers a comprehensive pathway to developing expertise in both research and academic careers. This program combines rigorous research training with a major individual project, supervised by a specialist in Egyptology. The curriculum is meticulously designed to enhance your research and analytical skills, preparing you for doctoral study or a career in academia. Admission Requirements
- A good (normally 2:1 or above) Honours degree, or equivalent, in a relevant field.
- For PhD applicants: a Masters qualification at Merit level or above (or its international equivalent).
- Academic and professional qualifications or relevant experience are considered.
- For distance learning, demonstrate the ability to study independently.
- International qualifications are welcomed; check our guide for specifics.
- English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band (alternatives accepted).
