Admission Requirements
- A good (normally a 2:1 or above) Honours degree, or an equivalent qualification, usually in a relevant area.
- For PhD applicants, a Masters qualification at Merit level or above (or its international equivalent) in a relevant area.
- Consideration of academic, professional qualifications, or relevant professional experience.
- For distance learning, demonstrate the time, commitment, facilities, and experience required.

- English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in any band (equivalent to TOEFL, PTE, Cambridge English standards).
- Core Module:
- Research and Scholarship in Classics, Ancient History, and Archaeology
- Optional Modules:
- Greek (Beginner/Advanced)
- Latin (Beginner/Advanced)
- Egyptian Language 1 and 2
- Assessment:
- 20,000-word thesis on a classical antiquity topic, supervised by a specialist
- Taught modules assessed by written assignments
