Overview
The Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering is one of the few integrated programs available in the UAE, preparing students to solve complex problems in microelectronics, communications and networking, power and renewable energy, embedded systems, robotics, the Internet of Things, machine learning, signal processing, and information technology. This program emphasizes the growing importance of traditional electrical engineering subjects like electromagnetics and signal processing within the modern context of computer engineering. By adopting a holistic approach, we produce graduates who are adept at integrating modern computing systems into devices, products, and services that can improve lives globally.

Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree: A directly related discipline with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 4.00-point scale from an accredited university recognized by the UAE’s Ministry of Education – Higher Education Affairs.
- English Language Proficiency: An official TOEFL (IBT) score of 79 or ITP score of 550, Academic IELTS score of 6.0, or an English EmSat score of 1400, taken within the last two years.
- Conditional Admission: Students with an EmSAT score of 1250, IELTS 5.5, or equivalent may receive conditional admission for one semester, allowing them to take up to six credit hours.
- International Students: Applications are welcomed from students with various bachelor degrees from accredited universities recognized by the UAE’s Ministry of Education – Higher Education Affairs. These students may need to complete required program foundation courses.
