Admission Requirements

  • University degree (in Germany or abroad) in a relevant discipline (minimum 240 ECTS credits)
  • English language proficiency (CEFR level B2)
  • Study of central source texts of the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament in the original languages amounting to at least one seminar course each
  • Proof of the corresponding language skills (completed language courses in Biblical Hebrew and New Testament Greek)
  • Foreign applicants who have not completed their university studies in Germany or another EU country must pass the aptitude test for university studies.
