The Master of Architecture is a distinctive research-based program offering you the flexibility to delve deeper into your architectural pursuits. Choose to specialize in either architecture or sustainable design and embark on a self-directed study path. Our program is distinguished by the support of academic supervisors comprising leading practitioners, designers, and scholars, both nationally and internationally acclaimed.

Admission Requirements

  • You must have completed a four-year undergraduate degree, or at least a one-year postgraduate degree following a three-year undergraduate degree. This study must have been at a recognised university (or similar institution) and in the field of architecture. You will need a GPE of 5.0.
  • IELTS 6.5 and the writing test score 6.0
  • C2 Proficiency – Cambridge English Qualifications with pass grade A, B or C.
  • C1 Advanced – Cambridge English Qualifications with pass grade A, B or C.
  • TOEFL iBT  90 and the writing test score 20

You can choose to complete your MArch entirely as research, or combine your research with coursework.

Both options allow you to build an academic context around your architectural investigations, concluding in the submission of a 35,000–40,000 word thesis.
