Overview
The Master of Engineering Management (MEM) program, offered by the College of Engineering in collaboration with the College of Business, merges technical and managerial education to produce versatile leaders. The curriculum comprises ten courses (30 credit hours), blending six engineering courses with four business courses, with the option to undertake a research project instead of an elective.
Engineers, architects, computer scientists, and IT professionals will find this program a perfect fit to expand their expertise beyond traditional boundaries. The MEM program is an excellent alternative to an MBA for engineers, focusing on advanced technical knowledge while integrating essential business and management skills.
Recognizing the UAE’s market demands, where engineering propels various industries, this program is designed to cultivate Emirati and expatriate professionals capable of leading and managing projects within the region’s engineering-centric sectors. By bridging the gap between engineering and management, graduates of this program are well-equipped to take on pivotal roles that drive innovation and operational excellence.
