Overview
The Master of Arts in Communication program offers two specialized study options: Strategic Public Relations and Tourism and Cultural Communication. Each pathway is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of their chosen field, grounded in both theory and practice.
The Strategic Public Relations option focuses on strategic communication in a global context, teaching students how to craft and deliver impactful messages that resonate with diverse audiences. Students develop critical skills in managing organizational communication, from crisis management to brand building, ensuring they are well-prepared for leadership roles in the industry.

Admission Requirements
- Baccalaureate Degree: Earned in a relevant discipline from an accredited university recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education.
- CGPA: Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (2.5 for conditional admission).
- Proficiency in Arabic and English Language (for programs offered in Arabic):
- TOEFL: Minimum score of 133 (CBT) or 45 (iBT).
- IELTS (Academic): Minimum overall band score of 4.5.
- EmSAT English: Minimum score of 950.
- EmSAT Arabic: Minimum score of 1100.
- Native Speaker: Evidence of completing undergraduate education in an English medium institution in a country where English is the official language.
- Proficiency in English Language (for programs offered in English):
- TOEFL: Minimum score of 213 (CBT) or 79 (iBT) (197 CBT or 71 iBT for conditional admission).
- IELTS (Academic): Minimum overall band score of 6.0 (5.5 for conditional admission).
- EmSAT English: Minimum score of 1400 (1250 for conditional admission).
- Native Speaker: Evidence of completing undergraduate education in an English medium institution in a country where English is the official language.
- Work Experience: Consult individual programs for specific requirements.
- Pre-Program Courses: May be required to demonstrate competency in specific areas, not exceeding 12 credit hours.
- Pre-Admission Interview: Submit a complete application online, meet all admission standards, pay the non-refundable application fee, and possibly attend an interview with program faculty.
