Overview
Our program allows students to specialize in their preferred art history period, whether it’s the Middle Ages, Renaissance to Early Modern, or Modern era. Additionally, students have the opportunity to complement their studies with fields such as History, Romance Studies, Archaeological Sciences, Comparative Literature, German Studies, or Museum Studies. Admission Requirements
- University degree (German or non-German) in a relevant discipline
- German language proficiency (DSH level 2, CEFR level C1)
- Minimum of 60 ECTS credits for modules in art history, including basic knowledge, knowledge of art history periods, and practical art history knowledge
- Research-oriented knowledge in art history
