Admission Requirements
- An upper second-class Honours degree or equivalent, preferably in Philosophy, Theology, or another relevant subject (e.g., Sociology, English)
- Applications from candidates with diverse academic backgrounds are welcome and considered on their merits
- Two academic references are required, or one academic and one professional reference if out of academia for some time
- A writing sample (3-4 pages) demonstrating potential for discursive and analytical writing required at the postgraduate level
- English language requirements:
- IELTS: 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band
- TOEFL: 88 overall with no less than 21 in Reading, 20 Listening, 22 Speaking, and 21 in Writing
- Pearson Test of English (PTE): Academic 67 with no less than 64 in all four skills
- Cambridge English (exams taken from 2015): Advanced – minimum overall score of 176, with no less than 169 in any component
