Within each domain, a diverse range of research groups offer compelling postgraduate projects tailored to your specific interests. Throughout your journey, you’ll benefit from personalized supervision by two independent Principal Investigators (PIs), supplemented by university-wide mentorship initiatives and robust student support services.

 

Admission Requirements

  • A good Honours degree (typically 2:1 or above) in a relevant field of study.
  • For PhD applicants, a Master’s qualification at Merit level or above (or its international equivalent) is required.
  • Relevant academic and professional experience is considered advantageous and may form part of the admission criteria.
  • International applicants must meet standard English language requirements:
    • IELTS: 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in any band.
    • TOEFL iBT: 88 overall with minimum scores of 21 in Reading, 21 in Listening, 22 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing.
    • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: 59 in all four skills.
    • Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) – minimum overall score of 176, with no less than 169 in any component.
