Admission Requirements

  • A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in medicine, a life/biological science, or another relevant subject.
  • Demonstrated interest in health research methods and evidence-based healthcare.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or experience in health or related fields considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Applications from UK medical students who have completed at least three years of full-time study are welcome.
  • Applications are accepted throughout the year, with early application recommended for international students due to processing times. UK students should apply by early August.
  • International qualifications are accepted; check country-specific equivalencies.
  • English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component. The English for Academic Purposes Presessional course is available for those needing to meet language requirements without retaking IELTS.
