Explore the multifaceted realm of Film Studies, including Television Studies and Media Studies, guided by expert supervisors renowned for their extensive publications and specialization in areas like Film Theory, World Cinema, and Animation. Additionally, you can consider our innovative Film Studies Audio-Visual PhD, integrating a 30,000-word thesis with a compelling 60-minute documentary film.
Admission Requirements
- A good Honours degree (usually 2:1 or above) or equivalent qualification, preferably in a relevant field.
- For PhD applicants, a Master’s qualification at Merit level or above in a relevant area is required.
- Academic and professional qualifications, along with relevant experience, are considered.
- Distance learning applicants must demonstrate commitment, time management skills, and suitable study facilities.
- International students are welcome, with qualifications accepted from various countries. English language proficiency is essential, with standard requirements including IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
