In the bygone era of 130 years, our university's narrative commenced within the walls of a sandstone structure, casting its gaze upon the scenic expanse of Hobart. Back in those nascent days, a trio of lecturers embarked on the educational odyssey, imparting wisdom to a mere eleven students. Fast forward through the annals of time, and the institution has weathered the years with unwavering dedication to academic excellence. Born in the 19th century, our humble beginnings have evolved into a saga of intellectual growth and societal impact. The isolated haven and modest population of Tasmania compelled us to adopt unconventional methodologies, fostering a community of creative thinkers and adept problem solvers.
